Does anyone know where I can buy/order young mesquite trees?

Just curious, what for. Most people want to get rid of them.

Want to plant some for the deer to eat the beans off of. They will be closely managed.

I have never heard of a Mesquite Tree farm....Hmmm, interesting idea. How much you paying per tree/size required? I got a shovel and a bunch O' Mesquite. Do deer in non Mesquite country like the beans that much?

I should have a few about this time next year, selected for large growth and bean production.

If you have access to any land that already has some you can simply dig up a few small ones to transplant.

If you lease, you should clear this with the landowner first. Mine barely tolerates them and was grubbing some last week with his skid stear.

I would think it would be years before they would be productive.

I waited too many years to plant my burr oaks.
Good luck finding some. Long Tap roots may make them hard to transplant? Water and fertilize and care them.
My live oaks grow like weeds in leon county.
Acorns in only a few years.

Good to know. Interesting. We plant hardwoods in late fall.

Mesquite? If you want to get them going good get some remedy and diesel to feed them. You'll thank me later. [emoji41]
