Well I went in with $1200 cash with full intention of buying a Matthews.
I walked in the pro shop and said " I want to shoot every model of Matthews that you have that will reach 31.5" draw..
The owner was really pushing this Bowtech CPXL. I asked specifically about limb problems and limb finish problems and he told me that all issues had been resolved at the factory.. My finish started chipping within weeks.. I was NOT happy
It does not affect the bows performance but I do worry about my limbs delamming. I hope not because the bow is wicked.. It's 4 years old and so far so good. I'm taking it to Nebraska mule deer hunting and I'm taking my old Parker Frontier as a back up.
