I haven't been in years but want to make a trip next fall 2017. What are the good boats to go on now. Any advice?

Was out there last May on the Southern Sports Fishing charter. Conditions then: water was fresh, had lots of rain prior and the wind was North West.
Not as if your asking for tips, but my tips:
1.) Gamble at the slots till one of your group hits a biggy and then go eat.
2.) Take Ibuprophin PM (2) and melatonin so you can get some sleep going out there.
3.) Dramamine prior to trip.
4.) Deck hands give good advice on fishing areas and techniques. A tout under popping
works. I tied the DOA shrimps in tandem.
5.) Have fun.

Buddy has been going with Due South Charters on the Due South, but they booked up like a year in advance for the month of October. So, from what I hear, you need to book well in advance to get dates secured. The guys I'm going with get a group together and charter the whole boat. Some have a minimum amount you get the whole boat for, more people less apiece, but I believe some want a full load every trip. GL. D
I'm guessing since you gotta book October almost a year in advance, that's the best time? I kinda want to go at the end of school so I can take my 13 year old. I know sharks are more active once it gets warmer but I'm not overly worried about them other than stealing my fish
