    I'm glad I don't hunt east Texas.
    I would be in trouble.
    That tall 9 would die.

Not quite. Next year he will be a legal stud.

Too close for me to be comfortable shooting. I too think he is younger than you think.

I think he is probably 14, but man at 6 or 7 that dude will be a stud. Just look at the jump from 4-5. Once the body peaks all the growth goes to horn.

I got one too that I'm on the fence about. He was an 8 last year. He grew another point, but got no wider. Many think he'll make 13", but I'm just not sure.

Boy I wouldn't care I would drop him

I've shot one that was 12-3/4 and over night it was cold just find you a good stick and wedge it in between the horns. Mine turned out to be exactly 13

He may barely make it. But I think he will be a hoss next year if that is how much he jumped in one year.

You think he was 3.5 last year? I thought 4.5 but could be wrong...i'm thinking he is 5.5 yrs and right at 13-13.5". Last year I shot a 5.5 yr old buck in same area with same genetics and I was sweating it until I put a measuring tape on him. He turned out to be 14.5" but didn't look it on the ground.

I don't think he is and it's to close one way or the other. If he was on my farm he would live

Too close to call. For anyone I might add. This is a good deer to let walk in my opinion. Give you something to look forward to next year.
