If your like me you will notice that those days you cant sleep are nearly always on full moon days or the couple days around full moon days.
I've noticed this also. Thought I was the only one.

LOL!! I don't usually get a lot of sleep, which makes it that much worse when I have insomnia. I need my four hours!

I'll usually just deal with being tired for a couple days. But by the time I reach the 3rd day, Advil PM and I'm guaranteed lights out for minimum 8 hrs.

I tend to go through a littletter bout of restless nights every 2-3 months. When this hits, I usually have several days in a row where I don't sleep well at all. Then, I'm sleeping good again for a while.

I had this problem once. I couldn't sleep for 3 days. Turns out I had been taking Claritin for allergies and one of the side effects for some people is insomnia.

lol. Kinda reminds me of the first time I tried Red Bull and Vodka. It was brought to the table and I had no idea what Red Bull was but after 7-10 of them later I had decided that it went really well with Vodka. I couldn't figure out why the heck I could not sleep at the hotel. I mean, I was WIDE AWAKE.

Benadryl when I am at the camp or farm.
                  Tylenol pm when I'm home.
Exercise and a new mattress have really helped me.

                  BP

If it were only that easy. I have insomnia really bad so I get smacked upside the head quite often for "trying" too much. Her opinion. . Usually I just end up laying here for two hours

Run. After 1-3 miles you will be at ease

In your situation the question becomes was someone keeping you awake?

I'd rather wake the Kraken, the wife doesn't take to kindly being woke up for such nonsense.

I work nights for 14 days straight. When I get off for two weeks a stay up all day 6hrs driving home and the find something to do to keep me awake the rest of the day.. Mowing, checking cameras and filling feeders, eat. Eat dinner watch some tv and usually pass out around 9pm 30hrs or so of being up. Usually helps me swap over fairly easy.
