Little Tucker Needs Some Prayers!

Quick update. This is from this morning, but overall we had a great rest of the day. Tucker rested much better last night...small victories!
His chest x-ray this morning showed no change, not better, but not worse...we'll count that as a victory. His breathing has slowed down some and he is talking to us more today (hearing his sweet little voice again thrills our hearts!) that is huge progress.
Due to his fevers still spiking and how high they got, doctors know that he had another infection besides the pneumonia so they started him on a 2nd antibiotic last night. Blood cultures were done before starting the antibiotics but we won't have those results until tomorrow at the earliest. His fevers are going longer between spikes now...so another victory.
His labs show that his kidney function decreased again but not as big a jump this time as it has been, doctors are hopeful that he is reaching the plateau on the HUS. Determining the extent of damage to his kidneys will still take some time. He just had his dialysis treatment and they pulled another 1000cc off of him today, his swelling is decreasing now so we know dialysis is doing it's job.
Tucker and mommy got to see Hunter today...yeah!
We are really excited about the positives and how much better he looks today...thank you so much for all of the thoughts, prayers, donations and random acts of kindness for our sweet boy.
Chris.
