    Wildgame timer problems???

Anyone ever bought this TDX timer?? I did and put it on a few weeks ago. Took 30 mins to set up and then came back to lease last weekend to it emptied the whole feeder and drained the battery. What a piece of junk

Chalk it up to lessons learned. And go buy "The Timer" and be done with it

I put one up on Sunday to replace a timer that froze. I reluctantly bought it even after seeing the WGI logo on the package because I didn't have a choice. I'll check it this weekend.

I just set a feeder up Sunday with that exact timer as well. I loved how easy it was to set up and use. I really hope it doesn't give me any problems!

Do you see that one star rating on the pic you posted? If it has wildgame on it, it should have been rated lower.

Well you know what, there must be two different types that look the same. BC another guy on lease got one as well and it was the simplest to set up. Didn't have the 7 days with 12 feeding times you had to program. Anyways, hope that one works out for y'all I'm gonna toss this junk and chalk up another 1 star for WGI

Absolute worst timer I've ever used, takes forever to set so I can't just tweak it when I leave my stand after dark. I don't recommend it

Head guy at my lease maintains all 25 feeder, uses nothing but those and has about 10 in stock at camp all the time to keep replacing the bad ones.. Don't know why he uses them but I'm not gonna complain..

I wish they put this in the instructions for all timers: "Do not rely simply on the Test button. Set the timer to go off for a few seconds while you are there and a second time a minute or two later for a few seconds."

I had a Moultrie timer that would run the "Test" just fine, and then I came back a few weeks later, and I had a feeder full of corn. I hypothesize it went off one time before it went bad. If I had followed my own instructions that would not have happened. I had a replacement with me when I set it, I just didn't know I should use it.
