What is the website/app that allows you to figure acreage by looking at a satellite map?

I like Google Earth. It's free, and you can trace your boundaries, roads, points of interest, and about anything else.

Hunt stand has that feature.

Google earth
Right click a point then click measure
Then click another point until you have all boundaries done. At the botton of the screen it will tell you how many sqft ( i believe) is inside the boundry. Convert to acres by putting that number into a conversion calculator ( also found on google )

There is a Google Map deal that's free online that will do it like Google Earth, but auto formats it into acres, Hectares, Sq feet....

"Measure Your Land" on iPhone is pretty slick. Have had it for 2 years and still use it a couple times a week.

Whitetail Freaks Property Manager app has that feature and is very accurate.

Try "Free Area Map Tools".

It uses Google maps for the satellite imaging. You just place pins at the desired locations and it will calculate the area in acres, hectares, and sf.
