Guitar Help- trying to figure out what year

here is a picture of it. I know when my dad got it. I hav been asking for it for several years now and he finally gave it to me.

It's a Gibson but that's about all I know.

Looks to be a 1968 Gibson J-45 with that color combo. Great playing guitars, and fairly valuable on the Vintage market these days....

Based off your serial number...

Gibson J-45
Your guitar was made at the
Kalamazoo Plant, MI, USA
in 1966, 1967 or 1969
Production Number: 700190

Based off the numbering system, I'd say it was probably actually made in 1967 as at that time, typically the first digit was the year made. (7)=1967

See when I looked it up it said could be 4 different places or something.

Going to get my fil to tune it and I'm gonna learn to play

Yes, but only one was for an acoustic made prior to 1977. Acoustics have never been made in Nashville by a Gibson either. Bozeman or Kalamazoo only
