Cricket sucks balls. They had a nationwide outage not long ago where some people had no service for 17 hours. They offered a $5 credit for the inconvenience. AT&T customers were completely unaffected buy the outage. Not the same service at all.

Nobody is going to consumer affairs to say they had a great experience....

From what I've seen that works great as long as you stay in metro or suburban areas. As soon a s you get away from cities of any size you got nada.

I've been eligible for an "upgrade" for some time. My iPhone 5 battery seems like it needs to stay on life support more of the day to keep charged. Of course when I went to AT&T the deal was pay the full price out monthly or pay it all up front. When I did the math it was all the same. I'm inclined to go to Verizon. Only reason I stayed with AT&T is because that was the only thing that worked at the ranch. Verizon doesn't work at all at the ranch, however, T-Mobil does. I can get a prepaid T-Mobil plan on an old iPhone 4 that cost $3/month to use at the ranch. I'm considering going to Verizon for my primary service and T-Mobil to use at the ranch.

It works everywhere ATT does. I was at the ranch this weekend between Brownwood and San Saba. My Sprint phone did not work there. I did a west coast road trip and there were very few parts of the country where it did not have service. Mostly in Central NV and a few 10 mile stretches in West Texas

I have Cricket and I have the same coverage I did with AT&T. I still have to drive to the top of the hill at my deer lease in the middle of no where to get service, just like I did with AT&T. We aren't close to any towns the cloest town is Turkey and it's over 20 miles away and Childress is 60 miles away.

I'm hoping I get a decent amount for my 6 plus 128G because I'm thinking about getting a 7 plus 128G but don't want to spend a $1000 for phone and wireless headphones.

I had the same issue with the battery on my 5. About a year ago I found out some of the 5s had a recall on the battery and you could get it replace at no cost. There was a place on the apple website where you could check if your phone was eligible by inputting the serial number. My has been great since I got the new battery installed.
