I guess I'll be the one to say it. I like invasive species. You're losing some native species and they tear things up when you get them. But you're also adding to your list of things to kill and grill. I mean I'll be honest....when I'm thumbing through the rules and regulation book and see that I can catch or kill an unlimited amount of something I don't think "Oh darn that's poopy."

When I read "no daily limit or possession limit" and you go huntin with me I hope you have your funderwear on. There's gonna be an unGodly amount of dead things layin around.

Only thing wrong that I see was that he didn't set the snake on fire!!!

We shall never know. Regardless, glad one less now resides there!

I read somewhere that they had 1500 or so hunters go and try to unleash hell on these things because they are destroying the animal ecosystem. ..they got some stupid number around 6...they just can't find them.

I wish he would have shot the snake in the head once it got of the deer...

I hate the invasive species too, but on the other hand, I have to feel sorry for the critter. He didn't voluntarily invade Florida, someone put him there, our best case scenario, someone put his momma there. At this point, he's just doing what snakes do. Just like the feral hogs, they're just doing what hogs do. I know they are destructive, I love killing them and eating them, but I don't hate them for being hogs. We put then there.

that's not even close to true,,, as just a couple of examples, deer, elk bison, alligators, rattlesnakes, raccoons, squirrels were all in this country , before "we" even knew they were here.....

That is amazing. I've got no problem with him intervening on that deal. Non-native species gets no vote in that situation. I had visions of him by himself, trying to save the deer and then the snake gets him!! I wish we could see the rest of the story. did he take the snake back and keep the skin? did he eat it?

Florida has a huge problem with invasive species.

A coyote paid the snake to hold the deer for him.

I'm no snake killer but agree that those non native snakes need o be killed

Doesn't surprise me one bit. The Everglades "Key Deer" are very small and weigh around 50 to 70 lbs.
The largest python caught in FL was 18.5 feet long. Wouldn't surprise me if there were some 20 to 25 ft long

Deer was promptly eaten by a gator.
