Safe weighs 1500#, don't trust plywood at that weight and I would have to buy a piece of plywood

I moved my 500lb safe in the back of my pickup. Put a pad down and tilted it into bed. place it on a four wheel dolly and rolled it into house. Only took two men.

Sound like you got a big un!

Maybe find an AMSEC or Gruffander dealer in your area. They are used to moving these.

I paid 300.00 to move a 2100# HD. Well worth it IMO. Cheaper than back surgery.

Looked up scissor lift trailer and this came up and seems to be the label for them

Call over to contractor building supply over on east loop. They might have one you can rent. I don't think I've ever seen one at Pro Star down here on 155 but might give them a shout too

Of course there's United Rentals over on the east loop too but they're always a PITA for us to rent from not to mention they're higher than giraffe you know what and we try not to use them if we don't have to

However you move it, keep it upright. Don't lie it down.

Pay the $250 to move it.......trust me.

My buddy borrowed my 10' trailer to pick up a safe he bought. He said, "I ain't paying nobody $200 to do something I can easily do." He Jack knifed the trailer into the rear quarter panel of his wife's suv, broke my tail light on the trailer, bent the metal thesh-hold at the front door with the weight on the dolly tires, cracked a ceramic tile and fubarred his back.......all while I helped and reminded him of the $200 fee.

I have had a couple people tell me that

                              What is the reason?

                              Cause problems with locking mechanism?
