Wife got a call from the PD...

My wife got a call yesterday from Universal PD. A little town right outside of San Antonio, and they informed her that someone else was using her license.

What does she need to do?

Her driver's license? Man that could be identity theft. You might want to check her credit to see if any new credit cards are under her name. Put a fraud alert on the ones you have and maybe even have them cancelled and reissued. Not trying to be chicken little, but I don't know how someone could get your DL without some major identity fraud.

So the police didn't offer any advice on what she needed to do? Find it hard to believe they just called to say hey by the way someone is using your license have a good day.

Did she lose her license somewhere? Was it something as simple as an under age girl trying to get into a bar? Need some more info

So far she has called their office twice and was forwarded to the officers voicemail. She didn't lose her license so we are kind of baffled right now.

Gonna get her a Credit Karma account when she gets home to see if there has been any activity we don't recognize.

Update on my wife's situation. Officer told her that he pulled over a GUY who had his picture with her license number. He also had stolen credit cards. Office informed her that this wasn't the first time he had stolen someone's identity.

Now the race is on to see how much damage he's done.
