    New Product For Bird Hunters

For all you duck, dove and other bird hunters, check out this product I just heard about. It seems like a pretty cool idea to help find downed birds. I talked to the guy that came up with it and he told me all about how he created it. I found his website and looked into it a little more and think it may be pretty useful for some people. Basically it's a way to mark the area your birds went down to help recover them faster and would work for ducks too since it apparently floats. Personally, I'm getting some for duck season since I don't usually have trouble with doves. I don't have any relation to this product or the company, just thought I'd mention it to anyone interested.

I've seen guys use a washer with some flagging tape tied to it before. Same idea but they definitely don't float! Haha

I think I'd end up losing both when I can typically retrieve birds relatively easy.

Not to down the product........ but for $19.99 a piece, you could easily buy a 3 pack of orange dog retrieving dummies and achieve the same thing.

See avatar pic. Way faster and less energy.

If you are interested in this product, DIY would be way easy.

I guess the concept is to chunk it immediately at the bird after you shoot the bird?

Those high flying 60-70 yard falls are gonna be a tough chunk.

It's $19.99 for a pack of three. But I do agree that they could be easy to make yourself... Good idea as most people will just buy them.

Make sure to stretch and warm up prior to attempting a 60 yard throw with one of these things. Good idea. But it been done for much cheaper. He is a little too late IMO.

I have been doing this for years in the dove field - just drop it/hang it where I first marked the bird down

I need to start doing this. I'm going to start a new dog but I like this idea too.

I'd take some orange painted rocks with me before I would buy those things but I'm not taking rocks out with me either.

I bought a package of 6 bright orange balls the size of large marbles with orange flagging attached to them several years ago that were designed for the same purpose and knowing me I bet I didn't pay more than $5 for them. Good luck to him on his venture
