Long story short my wife shot this buck two years ago with a 7mm08. Shot was a little low resulting in a broken front left leg. We chased this buck for over 1000 yards with the dogs and could never catch up to him. We'd get close and he'd out run the dogs. He went missing since that day, mind you we run 12 trail cams on 388 acres and he was no where to be found. We figured his buck was a goner and had forgotten all about him until early last month he finally showed back up on cams. Goes to show that these animals are tough and resilient. Prior to the shot he was a main frame 10 pt scoring the high 130's. Great beam length and was about 20 inches wide. We are calling him Stacks now.
