    Draw Length Question

I may answer my own question but I figure I'd ask the experts. I purchased a new Turbo Carbon Defiant recently. WHAT A ROCKET! It just wants to take off. My previous bow was at 65 lbs and this one is currently at 62 lbs. I don't really thing the poundage is a problem. When I draw and fix my anchor points I almost feel like I have to move them forward a little bit from where I reach full draw. Almost feeling like I have to flex my elbow of my bow arm a little bit. When I do the bow wants to take off. The draw length is set at 29.5. Bow is 60-60 lbs

Is there something I am missing or is it a little too long. Release is the same I used when I got fitted and purchased the bow.

Arms spread wide like your flying, measure finger tip to finger tip, then divide inches by 2.5

      My spread length is 76in.
      Divided by 2.5 = 30.4

      I use a 30" cam plus a little longer D-loop.

      Fits me perfect.

Was your previous bow a different draw length or D-loop length? Sounds like if you are having to bend your bow arm, and previously didn't, then the new bow is a shorter DL than the old bow.
