Gator Trip 2016

We had a blast down in Gibson, LA this year. Here is a video of it. Had 31 tags and got them all filled. Caught about 75 frogs too. Can't say enough nice things about those guys down there. They're good people.

We saw a new nest while riding around actually.

I thought I recognized that bald ogre on the front of the boat at the beginning. I'm pretty sure I've met you as well Jeremy. I'm buddies with Mclean and Grant. Was a KA at Tech with them. Texas starts this weekend and we got 15 tags this year, prices are just too low to be running a ton of tags, just letting buddies come kill some this year.

The Bald Ogre was talking about your place on the way through Beaumont. Said Mclean really liked it. We'll be down at the ranch a few times before New Years and will make the New Years shindig also. Grant almost has the 1000 yard range done on the farm and I'm working on loads for it right now. We all need to get together again and go run through the swamp. Being back in Louisiana this weekend got me going on getting a new duck boat with a surface drive. We have the bay boat in slips now at Matagorda and have been fishing Port Mansfield a lot also. Need to shoot some ducks as well.

I'm hoping to make it down there with Mclean this year some. You all need to come down sometime. Those surface drives are addictive and fun. We have a 25 Gator-tail and I am looking to get another one about the same if I find the right deal. Can't wait to see that 1000 yard range, their will be alot of rounds fired there over the years knowing all those guys.
