I am seeing some in the panhandle arriving the last two weeks.

They are in the rice currently. Once the shooting starts they will disperse into the marsh also. Pretty typical.

I'm in S central Tx east of San Antonio and drove by the caterpillar plant's runoff basin this week---loaded with teal, so they are at least this far south.

I saw 2 groups over rice on the way to wharton yesterday. Both bunches looked to be 15-20. One on 362 north of brookshire and one around E. Bernard

Saw several bunches around Eagle lake - Garwood.

Big push of cooler air this weekend is going to bring a big influx. They are starting to stack up in and around the rice fields of El Campo.

All the ponds were holding blue wing teal this last weekend, 10 miles north of Raymondville TX. Some of the flocks numbered over 50 birds.
