Need help Proposing

I need some help here guys. My GF of 4 years now is completely consumed with wanting to shoot a buck. ever since she shot her first deer (a doe) 2 years ago its all i ever hear about. even in the summer times she brings up wanting to get her first buck at least once a week.

She's definitely the one i want to do life with and I figured it would be great to propose to her while she is holding her first buck.

Here's the problem:

We dont have a lease. we only hunt public land and after scouting for a couple months now I have only had 1 picture of a buck, which isnt even a shooter because its an AR county. I dont want to wait another year to do this, so i was thinking about going on a HF hunt or something with a much higher chance of success than what i'm currently facing. I only have about 2k to spend max on this as I am finishing up college right now. do you guys have any suggestions on an outfitter i can use? or any suggestions at all.

I dont need a monster, should would be over the moon to shoot anything with antlers, but even cull bucks seem to be out of my price range.

Does it have to be a whitetail? You can find cull/smaller axis for alittle less than that

IMHO you are making this too complicated. If you want to spend the rest of your life with her, I'd come up with a simpler proposal.

I don't have ideas on a lease sorry. But, one thing you could do if she does shoot that buck is tell her that score able points are if you can hang a ring on them. Then offer her the engagement ring nonchalant and tell her to check the points then pop the big question.

Where are you looking that culls are over $2000??? Plenty of places out there where you can shoot a trophy whatever for that kind of dough, easy. You could probably even end up with cash to spare.

You got to do this right. You have to catch the buck the day before and put the ring inside its cavity by making a small incision and stuffing it in. Then when she shoots it and is field dressing it she'll say, wait a minute what's this and she'll be holding a diamond ring albeit covered in blood. That's when you get down on one knee and pop the question. So simple!![emoji13][emoji13]

I just pictured this all out in my head and it was one of the most epic things I've ever seen. Although it would make a heck of a story, I don't think she would be particular fond of a ring found inside deer organs.
