    Cotulla Motels

I am going to Cotulla this weekend; can any one recommend a motel?

We always stay at the Cotulla Motel. It's a good, cheap and clean room. In years past, we have also stayed the La Salle Motel. Both are no frills, but all you really need.

No frills? What are you talking about no frills. The room we stayed in had a bottle opener on the wall in the bathroom!

The Cotulla Motel has steadily if not somewhat rapidly gone further and further downhill, in my opinion! The water pressure in the shower has gotten lower and lower and lower over the years. Now it's to the point of feeling like a dog peeing on your back. If you don't know what it feels like to have a dog peeing on your back, it's kinda like a horse only a little softer.

Last year, the rooms flooded due to broken toilets. Soaked everyones bags and clothes on the floor. They moved us to other rooms, but would not offer compensation in any form, not even a discount on the rooms.

It would be my vote to NOT stay at the Cotulla Motel any more.

          JMHO
If I didn't think my opinion was right, then it wouldn't be my opinion. So, any other opinion must be wrong, therefore stupid.

Jamie and I stayed at the Executive Inn a couple of times. It was an o.k. place to stay.... with clean, comfortable rooms.

Rudey does have a point. I had typed in that the owner of the Cotulla Motel is a jack...not a nice guy, but didn't post it. The LaSalle Motel is not as nice, but it has sufficed for us from time to time.

We need to check other options, Rudey. I think you're just the man to do it. Let me know what you find.

I found a barn with some hay in it that has gotten five stars from "business travelers" from down south!

Cotulla Motel may not be what it used to be, but it is warm and dry....beats the hell out of the hay barn! ....and Rudley that dog pissing on your back feels pretty good when you been wet and cold all day!!

If you don't want to sleep and like hearing the local couples take turns "sharing" the adjacent room throughout the night, I reccommend the Executive Inn in Pearsall, Tx.
