Bow problems...

So, last week i had new strings put on my Hoyt Spyder. When i dropped the bow off at the shop it was set at 60 lbs. I had them install a set of red 60X strings.
So, i pick the bow up, sight in the 20 yard pin and all is good. Feels like im still shooting 60 lbs.

So today i get the bow out, so i can increase the draw weight back to 70 lbs. Well, with the limbs tighted down snug all i can get is 64 to 65 lbs out of the bow.

Yes, its a 60 to 70 ob bow!!!!

Any suggestions???

Harness might be too long, limbs may have weakened (unlikely), your scale isn't correct, they set your strings and cable up with your limbs bolts backed out. The last one is unlikely as well to have that kind of effect. But, it's a possibility

Checked the bow with 2 seperate scales

I'd bet the harness is stretched. Probably need to twist it back... It's a lot of poundage though....

If they made your buss cable 32.75, that's 3/8" too long by Hoyt's chart.

I'm assuming you have the 3 cam based on your string length. Between a 28-30" DL

Be sure you check the timing on the cams also,you want the top and bottom hitting at the same time.

I'm not saying that... I think you just need to have it adjusted. It might be common practice for that measurement to be accurate.

I'd ask the question to the shop who string your bow.

Your buss cable is the one that "y" at the top lims and attaches to the bottom cam on a hybrid
