Public hunting - first time ever

Quick question. Call me ignorant but...

Do you need to wear hunter orange when dove hunting or going to and from your spot on public land?

Any common etiquette tips I should know before heading out?

I have watched some videos about public land dove hunting on TPWD and i dont recall orange vest

as long as you are on national/public hunting lands yes orange vest and cap are required

All depends on the type of public lands and place. There are 4 types in Texas. I've been hunting different types of public lands for about 30 years now.
