    phone number lookup

What sight is the easiest, best and free to look up a phone number and find out who or what company it is?

I received a call that left a voice mail and the only words I heard were "we are suing you so you need to call such and such number for more info". I have the number and see it in a search, but it site with the number will not load on my computer. The call was automated but I would like to know what kind of scam is being run or if I am being sued.

It's a scam, if you are getting sued you will know it when you get papers served

It's a scam...don't sweat it man. They threaten you about the IRS? Tell them to pound sand.

Anyone that wants to sue me will have to get in line and serve me in person...like a man!

It is a scam as this call originates from Gardena California and they say it is from the IRS. I actually called back and got someone to answer and ask me for my first name and last name and i told them before I gave them any information I needed some from them. he gave me his name (not from here but the sandy region of the world if you know what I mean) and his IRS badge number, but he could not even say it was the Internal Revenue Service, they screwed that up! After he told me that info, he rudely ask for my name and I told him "I don't think so" and hung up!

Do people really fall for this act?

I started getting the same call last week, from IRS and they are suing me. They called a couple of times a day until I blocked the number. Sue away!!

Yeah, tons of people. Especially the elderly. Do people not realize the IRS doesn't need to sue people? You pay them or they break your legs (metaphorically).
