    Pop-UP Blinds

What can you put on the zippers to quiet them down with little to no smell?

I always like to carry a block or two of paraffin with me in the field. It's a good fire starter and lubricant for zippers on sleeping bags, tents, etc.

      Good luck,

      Dave

Agreed, if there's anything close enough to hear that zipper, they'll hear you coming or going.

This sounds like a good idea. I use it to make firestarters.

I just zip and unzip, I make sure that I get there early enough to where it doesn't bother them. Whatever I did to alert them there is plenty of time to pass to let their ears relax.

Good advise right there...I always get in my blind at least and hour early. In the morning I've had deer that are only a few yards away, push off without snorting. Sometimes they wait till the last minute to move and scare the snot out of me.

Unscented bar soap seems to work ok
Or you could go to your hardware store and get powdered graphite

Bow wax is good on zippers.
