High Priest Appointed
Yesterday the Renewed Sanhedrin appointed Rabbi Baruch Kahane as Cohen Gadol (High Priest.)
Why is this important to believers? One of the responsibilities of the High Priest is to make offerings on behalf of all believers (Israel).
The intention of the Sanhedrin is to have things in place should the political situation change allowing them access to the Temple to perform sacrifices for day of Atonement this year on Oct. 11th.
This is extremely important for believers in Messiah since scripture states that as our High Priest He offered His own blood to make perfect what was not able to be made perfect through the blood of goats and calves.
This event is extremely important since many in Christianity and Messianic assemblies are not only funding organizations like the Renewed Sanhedrin and Temple Institute but the desire of their heart is one to participate in these services.
One must understand that these organizations do not accept Yeshua the Messiah in fact they openly reject Him. So why would a follower of Messiah desire to participate in such services when infact the scripture identifies such persons as anti-messiah?
As followers of Messiah we need to consider the implications of our behavior. If we forsake the blood of Messiah by returning to animal sacrifices[Works of the Levitical Law] by a priesthood appointed by men who openly reject Messiah. Would this not be trodding the blood of our Messiah underfoot to no effect? This would mean that His blood was not proper and did not serve the purpose in which it accomplished? Please do not misunderstand what I'm saying. There will eventually be offerings and sacrifices in the Millennium when Messiah rules and reins from Jerusalem. This is after his return but first the son of perdition must reveal himself.
For anyone today to play the role as our High Priest sure would be exalting himself and proclaiming himself as God/Yeshua. Sitting in the Temple of God/Yeshua. Is this the great deception? It certainly seems to be misleading many today.
Most believers today are not equipped to discern the times and seasons ahead for many false prophets have gone forth to lead astray even the elect.
Many are being mislead by man either into complete lawlessness through their Pastors or they are disregarding the Laws of Moses in favor of commandments of men from their Rabbi's. Both are easily deceived since they are unlearned and unable to test all spirits.
This opposition to Messiah's priesthood did not start yesterday but rather something that Messiah personally addressed in His day. Further examination of the scriptures will show this struggle began in the beginning.
John 8:42-49 Yeshua said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for from God I came [as the Word] and now I am here. For I have not come on My own, but He sent [spoke] Me. Why don’t you understand My speech? Because you’re not able to hear My word! You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father [satan]. He was a murderer [destroying Gods instruction] from the beginning [garden] and does not stand in the truth [Gods instruction], because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks lies he is just being himself—for he is a liar and the father of lies. “But because I speak the truth, you do not believe Me. Which one of you convicts Me of sinning? If I am telling the truth, why don’t you believe Me? He who belongs to God hears the words of God. The reason you don’t hear is because you do not belong to God.” The Judean [Jewish] leaders responded, “Aren’t we right to say you are a Samaritan and have a demon?” Yeshua answered, “I do not have a demon [false teaching]! I honor My Father, yet you dishonor Me.
This struggle for the Priesthood is nothing new. There is nothing new under the sun. It began in the Garden when the serpent substituted his own set of instructions thus "killing" the word of God which by the testimony of John 1:1,14 The Word of God is Jesus/Yeshua.
This struggle even existed in the Heavenly realm when Satan was cast down for challenging the priesthood of Yahweh.
The goal of Yahweh has always been to establish a nation of priest here on earth to teach the instruction and ways of our Creator. The adversary has also been present trying to establish his own priesthood by his own will.
Brothers and sisters we could be very short on time. These things are spoken of by Daniel the prophet.
Many teach that it will be the removal of the daily sacrifices that will set off a timing of events leading to Messiah's return. This is one possibility. The words in verse 11 "took away" are translated from the Hebrew word Rum.

I emphasis "could" since I am certainly no prophet and only a man that can make errors. I am rather sharing what has been on my heart since Passover of this year when the Sanhedrin expressed their desires to re-institute the daily sacrifices and eventually the Passover possibly for next Year. Over the past few months I have been cautiously observing these events. We are called to be watchmen on the wall and I feel that as brothers it is my responsibility to share this information for others to examine and test according to the scripture. I encourage all believers to study to show yourselves approved to Him now more than ever, Amen

2 Thessalonians 2:3-10 Let no one deceive you in any way, for the Day will not come unless the rebellion comes first and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the one destined to be destroyed. He opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he sits in the Temple of God, proclaiming himself that he is God. Don’t you remember that when I was still with you I was telling you these things? And you know what now holds back, for him to be revealed in his own time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already operating; only there is one who holds back just now, until he is taken out of the way. Then the lawless one will be revealed. The Lord Yeshua will slay him with the breath of His mouth and wipe him out with the appearance of His coming. The coming of the lawless one is connected to the activity of satan [one who opposes the priesthood of Messiah], with all power and signs and false wonders, and with every kind of wicked deception toward those who are perishing. They perish because they did not accept the love of the truth so as to be saved.
