Kory Willis (PPEI) works out of there shop

Give them your info of your truck and they will mail your order.
I wouldn't waste your time or money dealing with CL that's a good way to get the shaft, Kory will build tunes for your truck to what you want
This right here is the way to go. They do all my friends work, and my buddies new duramax that has more than just a delete and tune, well, let's just say it is perfect. Top quality work and the tunes are always good.

I started with smarty s67 on my 2012 with 68RFE auto just for deletes and mpg boost and extended oil life. After months of research I went to efi by ppei with trans tuning. Noticeable smoother running and lower egts coming from a box tuner. Can't speak for other efi companies out there but couldn't be happier with ppei. Customer service and product are excellent. If you have the 68RFE auto I highly recomend trans tuning. Truck gets moving easier with less throttle input. No more lugging around locked in 5th and 6th at 950rpm. Good luck!

Efi live all day. Chuck's diesel performance did mine. Full deletes, 5 tunes, $1900

GO Racme all of the other tuners are great but Raceme is the only one that is specific for cummins and the Ultra can be custom tuned just like all the others. Double R diesel has custom tunes for them and can make any that you would want...

With the ultra you can monitor all your parameters that you would want and you can adjust what ever you want on the fly.. did my delete and racme ultra for 1700

Forgot to mention I'm running PPEI 60hp Eco/tow and trans tuning. I won't discredit raceme as its a good option. I've driven raceme tuned trucks, however I don't think it gets and more "specific" for your 6.7 cummins than a custom efi tune.

I like the ability to request a modification to my tune and it's a phone call and and tune is emailed promptly. I suggest doing some research on cummins forum. Just clear your schedule for a couple hours lol.

I've heard good things about Kory Willis. Friend of mine owns a diesel shop and they use him a lot.

6.7s are good, a lot better when deleted but the 68 tranny is weaker than the 48s if you are wanting to make big power. if you are just wanting a better performing DD truck make sure the tuner you go with has the tranny safe tunes so you don't tear stuff up.
Again I have used PPEI many times they will build you a tune to your needs to keep you happy with no problems

I agree. I've ridden in EFI Live trucks. RaceME has got the edge in the transmission tuning. Ray at Double R is a mastermind with these 68RFEs. His tunes are safe and clean(Hardly any smoke). I run his +120hp tune daily.

If you are running his 120hp tune on a stock 68 trans I can promise you, you are doing damage. No matter how good his tuning is.

Great customer service from the guys at PPEI in Lake Charles. Kory has handled tunes (via EFI Live) for myself as well as a few others I have sent his way. All with the same results, speedy, friendly, knowledgeable service.

Weird mine has worked flawlessly the last 10k miles. Thats where I think RaceME gets its advantage. Ray has an extensive racing resumé. He understands the motor and transmission in and out. I've even seen guys making passes at the drag strip, 6+ times per visit, on multiple weekends without any troubles on stock transmissions. Even saw one guy rip a nasty burnout on 35s and not have any trouble. Im pretty sure Ray has run his truck with this tuning for 30-50k miles on a stock transmission. He just recently put head ARP 625s on his truck because he wanted to.

I say start calling some tuners and ask questions. I wore the folks at ppei out for weeks on the phone before I ordered. There are lots of great tuners out there.

Do you have a standard or auto trans?
6 speed you can throw a clutch in it and crank it up with the csp5.
68RFE auto I would stick to a 30 or 60 horse tune with trans tuning. 5th and 6th gear clutch packs are weak. Anybody running a high hp tune on stock 68 tuned of not is on borrowed time.

I just picked up the phone and told a few efi tuners my needs. That's the best recommendation I can give you. Also 6.7s like to lift the head if timing is added and you don't wait for engine to come up to temp. Me I wanted deletes, mpg and longevity.
