You betcha! It's still not easy but it gives you a really good idea where to point. Also make sure you have someone helping that you ca easily work with. Not your wife.

On RVs I just take the regular mast that mounts to roof and bolt it to a cement block from home depot. The block is 16x16x4. Small and doesn't take up as much room as the tripod.

I have a tailgater now and its a breeze. Back in the early days when I would get to the lease and the wind had blown it off target. I would be one mad mother trying to line that thing up when it was 35 degrees and the wind was blowing 25mph

I've got dishnetwork in my RV. I pay 10 bucks a month for the extra receiver and I have a wineguard unit that works great.

Tailgater or wine guard is way to go.

Download a satellite pointer app... Google the name it'll show u which direction to point it. Regular dish will work just tougher to get it to pick up signal. Tailgater is awesome

I recently got the dish king tail gator for our travel trailer. They were selling for around $500 with receiver but ended up finding a local dealer that sold me the package for $300. Said he had extra stock that he was trying to get rid of but I don't know how true that was. Regardless we do the pay as you go and its been great so far. Shop around and you can find good deals.

Depends which package you go with. We went with the $79 one.
