Vermejo Park Ranch Here I Come

All packed and ready for a long awaited mule deer hunt at the famous Vermejo Park Ranch. Junkmanhunter and I hit the road Tuesday afternoon with Amarillo for our first stop. We roll in to the ranch at noon on the 31st and our 5 day hunt starts Thursday. We will be hunting with Joe and Nola Mussacchio, the owners of Cinnamon Creek Ranch.

Hopefully a New Mexico giant is waiting for us!

We've hunted cow elk there in December for the last several years. Always plenty of game and a good time. Recommend staying at the NRA Whittington center. Really nice cabins and cheaper than the Super 8 in town.

Have been to Vermejo numerous times chasing Elk and Mountain Lion. It is a special place. Lots of game at every turn. Good luck, so how big of a buck are you holding out for ?
