Switching from left to right handed bow?

OK folks, long story short, I'm tired of shooting a left handed bow. I'm right handed left eye dominant, and started out shooting left handed. I'm tired of trying to find left handed bows with a 32-32.5" dl, and then finding accessories for them, all in my price range. I don't like the bow im shooting now, and as a result haven't shot in several months. Other hobbies have kind of filled the gap.
Is it practical to flip to right handed shooting? I may go to the local shop and see if I can do it and how it feels to start. Anyone done this?

I have the same cross dominance issues as you. I started right handed, tried a left handed bow and didn't like it so I switched back to a right handed bow and never looked back. I just deal with having to close my left eye, but honestly other than a smaller field of view, it hasn't slowed me down.

That's what ive been thinking. I close my right eye to shoot anyway, so fov would be the same for me... Should just have to reteach myself to shoot right handed.

done it, but I was right eye dominant. Also shooting trad gear.

Took about a week of daily shooting and all was good.

I pick up a bow now and lefthanded seems almost odd, but not quite.

Shot right since until 2008. Switched to left because I'm left eye dominant. Glad I did. Shoot much better now.

I'm glad you shared your experience, as I've thought about making the switch for awhile myself, but just never pulled the trigger on it. I shoot pretty decent right handed, closing my left eye, but really thought that I'd enjoy the larger FOV when shooting and hunting, if I made the switch. You just settled it for me, once and for all

I'm right handed but left eye dominant. And I have some kind of muscle issue where I can't wink my left eye. No changing for me. Shoot rifles and bows left handed. Draw my pistol from my strong side but move it slightly across my body.

you will shoot better with your dominant eye, you can not change that,,, your muscles can be trained and conditioned to work on the "weak hand side"
my son is left handed with a dominant right eye, he has always shot right handed he can shoot left handed but says it is neither as comfortable or as accurate

I am the same as you where I'm right handed but left eye dominant, from when I was young I shot right-handed and haven't even thought about switching because I've never seen the use in it, plus I'm able to pull a little higher poundage than with my left. Even though I shoot my bow right handed I shoot a rifle on my left because it's my dominant eye side.

Shooting a bow with a cross dominate eye is extremely common. Old school teaching is to use dominate eye and the most current teaching is to always use your dominate hand. You can always use a patch or blinder to help you shoot.

Just because your eye is dominant doesn't mean you see better with it. Unless you have a vison issue with your non dominate eye it works just as good as the other eye.

Both my kids and I are cross eye dominant and both my kids wear a patch and I just close my left eye.

Ironically enough my left eye actually has substantially worse vision. With the use of contacts they are the same though.
I think It may come down to shooting right handed for a while and seeing how it feeks

I made the switch years ago. I'm a lefty, but it was almost impossible to find left handed equipment. Been shooting right handed so long now I don't even think about it. I do have to close my left eye to shoot though.
