You are not very far from College Station. I would have her at A&M Vet school as soon as possible. Poor pup! Sure hope she has a full recovery.

We're only about 30 minutes from A&M but we've never had great luck with the vet school maybe they're better with dogs and cats but they've killed enough of our livestock that we finally quit using them.

I think Harley is getting better day by day, she has a checkup tomorrow so we will see what the vet thinks.
She is still on amoxicillin 1500mg a day and I'm still doing water therapy, special ointment and wrapping her leg.

The spot where my finger is pointing has actually reattached to the rest of the leg and seems to be healing.

And this it the pictures of the medicine "special" salve the second vet prescribed.
It's a blend of different medicines that he mixes himself, all I know is that he calls it fasco

Looks like the vet took a bottle of Koppertox and mix in something else to put his label on it and call it Fasco.... You can buy the ointment at most feed stores and tractor supply. Good stuff we've used it for yeas.

Looks like it's healing up good!

Now that you say something it actually looks like a bottle of Fura-Zone.

Is it legal to do that? For example can I buy jiffy peanut butter and put a sticker on it calling it something else and sell it? Not trying to get anyone in trouble just a random question.

On another note. How is Harley today?

Have no idea but since it's a vet doing it maybe so!

No matter what it's good stuff and should help that wound

Not sure what Fura-Zone is but I'm interested in looking into it because if it is the same stuff it's amazing.
                      Harley is still doing good.
Here is a picture of her leg from tonight. Although I forgot to get a picture before I started applying the medicine.

The picture on the left was last Wednesday and the one on the right is tonight.
What a difference a week makes

Figured I better post a progress picture..
Harley is still doing great and continuing to heal.
She is no longer on pain meds and doesn't seem to be in pain even when we're doing the hydrotherapy on her leg.
