Dog Question

I had a friend ask if I wanted an Aussie/Heeler mix that he didn't have any time for that was in a crate too many hours. I took him quick. Took him to get chopped today and the vet says he's looking like he has Catahoula in him. He's a great dog do I don't care what he really is but thought I'd throw out a couple pics for opinions.

I definitely see the Heeler in him and his coat is Aussie. Should be a hell of a cattle dog or retriever!

I had an Aussie/Heeler mix when I was out in Alpine and dang it but that dog was smart. Great pet and working dog but I had to spend lots of time with him. He got destructive when he was bored.

He's really freaking smart. Energetic. I need to lose some weight and he's going to do it. I have to walk him two miles a day to keep him from going nuts. Loves to play games where he has to think.
