Hard horned buck....

Had a hard horned buck show up at the house yesterday.... a 4-1/2 year old 11 point. Usually all of our bucks rub the velvet off around Sept. 1st. I guess he decided he wanted to be first this year....

Always exciting and sometimes a little disappointing.... when this happens. I know everyone knows what I mean....

Our deer shed early this year. I've had pictures of bucks rubbed out for about a month on my lease south of Victoria and they should just now be rubbing out.

It's only about a week early for us.... You can tell the others won't be far behind him...
