I have a nice Diamondback in the freezer that I need to do something with. I thought about ordering a form for it and doing some taxidermy work just to say I did one of my own mounts. But it would also look good as a wall hanger if I skinned the head out and ordered an artificial head and some fake eyes so the head will still be there. The wall hanger would probably be easiest but I don't know. I've skinned them before but never really did anything as far as messing with forms to mount them on so they still look alive or at least somewhat alive. How feasible would it be for me to do something like that?

Basically all I really need to know is what kind of glue do I use to put the skin on the form and what is the difference between dry preserve and tanning a snake skin? I've heard dry preserve is the best for snake mounts but I don't know what that is. Or if tanning the skin would actually be better.
