Acorns

Its looking like this could be a bumper years for acorns. The red oaks look like grape clusters. My pecan is overloaded and the muscidine vine is about to rip off the tree. I will be checking some white oak tops off our logging jobs to see if the same holds true.

My Pin Oaks have already started dropping acorns in Freestone county. The Sawtooth Oaks and Red Oaks are loaded but not dropping yet.

Our Red Oaks are covered in them and they are the biggest I have seen.

I noticed a few already dropping from my Pin Oak and White Oak by my home. Maybe they will drop early.
