I'm out of town but the plant is right next to the school my oldest attends. Centerpoint email says it should be back on by 9 but I seriously doubt that happens. I wouldn't be surprised if it's still out when I get home tomorrow. I think it's 70-80K affected.
9:00 is when I will run cables to both refrigerators and one fan and drag out the generator. Probably once I get good and sweating getting it going, power will be restored. Always happens that way.
We just left a daughter's whose power is out and when my mother-in-law got home, she called to let us know her power is also out. We may have company tonight if it doesn't come on in the next few hours.
Did it affect ATT as well? I had to walk around outside to find the smallest signal.
I saw the fire on phone while trying to get home with zero traffic lights and 10K other people trying to get home as well .[emoji15].. It looks bad for getting service any time soon.
Hope I am wrong, but starting to fear my freezer goodies are in trouble.

Yeah I'm out of town and the wife is having trouble with her ATT as well
Someone in Rock Creek just posted that they were told to be prepared for 10-12 hours without power.
I'm in Longwood, probably going to have to break out the generator to keep my 3 fridges and freezers going.
Here's a screen grab I got from a neighborhood website. Right behind Hamilton Middle School. My kids went there a few years ago.
I'm in Longwood also. We live right off Grant. I'm afraid we are in for a long night. I heard they are trying to put us on the Tomball power grid. Who really knows though.
