Need some help with cutting angles

I'm sure this is easy to figure out but I'd rather someone that knows what they're doing tell me hows it's done. I'm building a barn door in the cutout behind our bed...thanks pinterest. I've got everything done and need to add the angled planks from corner to corner. I could be totally wrong but since the measurement aren't square (see below) 45 angles won't work...right

I'm sure there is a mathematical formula, but I'd just lay the board down from corner to corner then trace the bottom with a pencil.

I'm confused... Regardless of the length, if your door is square, that corner should be 90 degrees...

Good stuff. I'm in the industry as well and this is how I would do it. Easy and it will be a perfect fit

Here is what I would do...Measure the distance from corner to opposite corner in each section and cut your board to that length. Lay it on the door with the middle of each end on the corners. Make a mark in the middle of the board where the corner is and a mark on each side of the board where the border board comes out from under the cross piece. Draw a line from the mark at the middle of the board to the mark on each side of the board and cut those triangles off and the brace board should drop right in. Does that make sense to anyone?

Since the door is not square do the above. You will be good to go. Keep it simple.

Solid works. Can do all sorts of stuff with it

Makes sense to me. That's the way I would do it as well.
