    Anyone else have this problem?

I pay good money for a deer lease every year. Spend months in preparation, tons of money, and spend hours in the stand.....and I am lucky to see a deer. If I do see bucks, they are rarely even legal.

Meanwhile, my girlfriends grandparents live in a nice subdivision in Austin on a golf course. They send me these kind of pictures any given day of the week pulling out of her driveway in people's yards.

Not really a problem. But an option. Lakeway. Lago Vista. Round Rock. Georgetown. Concan. All along FM 1431 going through the Hill Country.

I see people with nice even tans at Academy buying basketfulls of corn. Come time for harvest..."Dont shoot the pets!" Is that legal...in the county...outside city limits? Making a pet of a natural resource and expecting hunters not to harvest.

Im gonna feed the fish with a feeder at Lake Austin and expect people to not fish because "Guppy" the 30lb catfish shows up at 6pm when the feeder goes off.

Thwack. Thwack. Thwack. Thwack. Or itll be someones bumper and windshield.

Spend the same time and less money by going to public hunt property. SHNF for starters since you live out in ETX. Good luck.

The part of that that always cracks me up is when folks feed the darn things and then get mad at them for eating the garden and flowers around the house. Even worse is when one of them gets ticked off for some reason and attacks the guy/lady with the bucket of corn.

Wasn't there a guy 15 or so years ago that got caught hunting them in his backyard with a bow within a subdivision? Can't say as I blame him.

That's why I live out here in podunkville on the edge of civilization, they show up in my yard there's not any nosey neighbors, drive-by grey hairs, or Leo's to keep them out of danger.

Worked around PK lake about 15 years ago late one summer and saw all kinds of deer! Looked at one house last thing one evening and the guy had several great bucks sleeping in the yard under some cedars! He said one of them was a huge 14 point the year before and they would see him every morning leaving the house early to drive 1.5 hours to their lease where they rarely saw a deer!!

I don't know if I coulda dealt with that kinda temptation all season long!!
