I carry a bag with me that has my knives. I also carry a carborundum stone just in case I need to sharpen things.

I bought some jig and use it with varying grits of sand paper to get a nasty edge on stingers

x2 on my Thunderheads, or sent the cut on contacts back to Magnus and put on new ones.
I have spent hours of non-productive, non-enjoyable time trying to do it myself.
