Easton FMJ's to Carbon Express Maxima Reds

Have shot FMJ's for years but arrow has been fighting to stay on course. After tuning the bow and during paper tuning the Max Reds shot bullet holes, the FMJ's had tears that would require significant adjustments. FMJ is a great arrow but I have converted to Max Reds. Yes arrows were correct spine for draw length and weight.

I made the move from FMJ 340's to Axis 340's. At 20 yds the FMJ's are hitting a little lower other than that everything is good. I actually just shot both through paper today and after a few rest adjustments they both punched good holes.

I switched from fmjs back to carbon. Now shooting maxima reds, just didn't like paying that much for a arrow just to have it bend. I did like them though

Personally, I think Black Eagle Carnivores, which are also .001 and come in a 250 spine, are of better quality, at a WAY better price.

But if they're flying good, more power to you!

To me if you have bullet hole in paper tuning, probably should go with it.
