I don't know what you think about Glenn ( Stretch ) Smith , he said there are at least 12 teams that would have an interest in Tony, he said it would take a first rounder and possibly a player to get the deal done.
I've never heard of him. That sounds high, but I could see a later 1st. I'd be tickled with that.

He does a show with Dale Hansen on Sunday nights, he is on radio and he was a scout for Dallas for several years, I like the guy, he seems to be pretty smart, he also seems like a character.

That looks pretty good in favor of Dak until you look at New England's roster. Leading receiver (i think) was Troy Brown and their #1 RB was Antowain Smith. Nowhere near the caliber of skill position players or O-line that Dak has.
Nothing against Dak, I'm glad he is a Cowboy. But he is playing with a loaded offense, something very few rookie QB's get the benefit of.

Do you remember the Pats Team he played on as a Rookie?
He only played one game that year. The next was his year and they went to the Super Bowl and won it. So 1st year playing vs 1st year playing Brady had a team around him.
They managed to win the Super Bowl somehow with a roster of average players.
Nope. That was his sophomore year. They were not just average. Ty Law and Lawyer Malloy ring a bell? They only had 4 total Pro Bowlers but if you'll remember the 92 Cowboys had one of the best defenses in the league with zero pro bowlers.
Moving on to the NFL, Brady was drafted by the New England Patriots in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL draft. Initially he served as a backup quarterback and played in only one game during his first season. The 2001 season was a different story. After starting quarterback Drew Bledsoe was injured, Brady took over, proving himself a strong leader with a powerful arm. Anyone who doubted his abilities only had to look at the team's record, an impressive 11 wins to 3 losses in the 14 games that Brady started. In the post-season, he helped the team secure a win over the St. Louis Rams at Super Bowl ***VI, and Brady received the game's MVP award.

After the emergence of David Irving, maybe having Gregory for some snaps, and some of the other D getting healthy....I'm finally starting to convince myself that there is a legitimate chance for this team to make a deep run...or dare I say......no, I won't.
That should be sufficient hope for them to lose in the 2nd round, but I'm trying to put recent Cowboys, Rangers, Stars fandom negatives aside...
I really feel like this is a legit team, I think it's gonna rest on that O-line being what they can be, the secondary getting healthy and playing well......and 82 to push them through. I'm already nervous and we're still 12 days away....it's been a while since they've had this good a chance.....
Dak has had a year that will be very very hard to repeat. The one stat that stands out to me is 4 int's. That's off the charts greatness for a 10 year vet or anybody especially a rookie. If only for the fact of the speed at which the NFL defenses play compared to his college days.
Anything but run of the mill players. Re-read my edit. Y'all just won't give the boy credit. That retarted. You was "exactly" wrong. [emoji6]

Brother, I'm not a Dak hater, and I wasn't arguing with you. I was agreeing with you in your response to ttechdallas' comment about the comparison. He's the one who was disagreeing with you.
