Deer hunting over the chicken feeder.....

Went out this evening to close up the coop and was startled to see a spike and doe sanding in the chicken yard eating up the feed the chickens left. I was curious why the feed pans looked like they'd been licked clean this morning and just figured it was the rain or one of the dogs. I got within about 30 feet of them before they decided to run off. I wonder if the game wardens have something against hunting deer at a chicken feeder.

I wonder if after eating the chicken feed if they would be original or extra crispy?

You may have to pluck 'em instead of skin .

I have had the same problem, I have tried everything to keep them out of the pen they jump right in and go to eating, I have found a second Deer bait tho, cant wait for hunting season, just about out of venison.

My wife dumped some laying pellets, that got wet, on the ground next to our coop. We had deer going to town on that stuff.
