Took my Mac basics class today. Lots of old folks learning how to use their Macs. Gotta give this guy a lot of credit. It takes patience to deal with "old dogs".
Going to pick up Parallels tomorrow and install Windows 7Pro.
So far I've only installed Adobe Acrobat, Java and Dropbox and I already had malware on my computer. Can you believe that crap!!! Somehow MacKeeper, Megabackup, and Advanced Mac Cleaner.

I have an old laptop that had Windows 7 on it. I recently wiped it clean and installed Windows 10 Home on it to make it my son's computer. That thing is much faster after the wipe clean and install. Probably some of both - new software and cleaned all the old junk off it. Even running net nanny on it it's way faster than it was with Win7.
Plus the integration with Xbox Live and ability to get games and apps from the store makes the upgrade to 10 worth it!

It would be very unusual of you had Malware on your MAC.
The other stuff was likely bundled in a software you installed. Just uninstall it.
MacKeeper will drive you nuts!

The reason I say that is my wife got on a website that was running a script that would keep redirecting her back to their site. I thought that Safari had been hijacked but it turned out to be a simple fix.

This is one reason I decided to go with Mac. No viruses...I'll be picking up Parallels and Windows 7pro today and get them installed. Next will be AutoCAD and I'm off and running.
Can my Mac and iPad Pro communicate thru Airdrop?

Your iPad Pro should be able to communicate through airdrop. My MB Pro, iPhone, iPad and wife's iPhone can all communicate.
