Come on. you have to give more details then that. What kind of bow? With what kind of sight? What rest? and all the other goodies. Which broad heads? I'm all curious because I'm still setting up my wife's bow.

My new place has a tree suitable for a ladder stand. I've never bow hunted off the ground so I'll give that a try.

Not much. Have a feeder where turkeys get all the corn.
          Gonna hog panel them out.
They won't jump in the round pens on this place. I can't believe it,
          But that is true.

And hunt more in October. MLD.
Too hot, but rut really distributes our bucks.

I bet you really enjoy it.
Having those deer right below your feet is pretty cool.

I'm leaving my Mathews at the house until I draw blood with my longbow. I have been slinging arrows every spare second I have had and I'm just now starting to get in the groove with it and want to give it a fair shake. Ive said this for the last 2 seasons but this year is the year

Get my first bow kill. Only been able to afford "day hunts" the last couple years and never saw deer that we were able to shoot. My dad and I are on a 600ac lease with 1 other this year that looks like it's gonna be great.

Working on getting a food plot put in and going Saturday to refill feeders and set up some tripods

First time i took my trad bow on a hunt i missed. And that shot is still one of the most exciting shot/hunts are have ever had.
Have only hunted with a compound 1 day since.

I've taken read a but more serious. That's all I've hunted with the last few years but wouldnt start practicing until 2 months before my one axis hunt each year. I've been shooting every day, really watching form, and practicing out to 36 yards (I won't shoot an animal that far). Anf I'm using soft soled chukkas and snake gaitors instead of heavy hard soled noisy snake boots to spot and stalk.

I can see that happening real easily. once I started getting dialed in on my form it went from struggling with my shot to fixing my shot.

I also intend to try duck & goose hunting with a bow. I think I'll end up really enjoying it.

Last thing will be to shoot the red stag that showed up on one of my hunting properties last year. Nice 5x4 and was young. That'll get you jacked up to be 25' up an oak tree and have something like stroll past!!
I don't know that I could sit all day, it sounds great in my head but not sure I could pull it off
