Which back tension/thumb releases on the market have safeties on them for when you're drawing back? Which ones do you recommend and why?

I don't, but because they're so sensitive I don't trust myself drawing on an animal without a safety at this point.

What's the worst that can happen trip the trigger and scare the deer of a lifetime away!? Lol that's why I stayed away from the tension releases was scared of just that
