Moultrie Trail Cam hard reset

Figured I would pass this along to anyone having issues with their Moultrie trail cam.

Moultire model # MCG-12590
Product name: D-333

I was having issues of the cam taking pictures of nothing. It seemed to just constantly take pictures without anything triggering the motion sensor. I called the customer service number and this is what they had me do.

Turn camera OFF
Take out batteries and SD card
Turn camera to ON and let sit for at least 1 full minute
Turn camera to OFF
Insert batteries and SD card
Turn camera to ON
Good as new.

I had the camera on in my office for the last 30 mins and no false pictures taken. I will update once I put this one back out in the field.

I can't tell if brush is setting mine off, but I get a lot of false pics with my moultrie also. I will have to try this, thanks.

May try that on one of my Primos cameras seems to be doing the same thing.
Seems like lately just taking more pictures and more pictures with nothing on Them.

Is there a reset that keeps me from getting 1,0000 pics of a cow when she decides to lay in the frame for hours???��
