I had a legitimate herniated disc between L7 and S1 (lower back). Dr. said surgery after we try injections was my future. I got a Teeters, did it properly for a few months, a few minutes each day and pain was gone. It's been about 8 years now and I'm starting to have a little stiffness in the same region but I'd highly suggest it!!! Spent the extra money and get the upgraded ankle boot things.
Most importantly, FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS!!! It's a process that progresses so you don't just jump on it and flip upside down. Take your time!

I have one I bought from a tbh buddy...haven't had to use it in a while but great to have when needed.
LFD nails this. Man, go slow!! Do not go full inversion right off the bat.
Figure out your balance with someone there & help you in the beginning so you can relax. You don't want to be flinching in the learning process.

Have used one for going on 6yrs now and for decompression and strengthening does what it claims but only if you use it. For me it was last resort before surgery on lower back and so far so good. My VA doc is still waiting for the Surgery and can keep waiting. I still use a climber and walk 3 to 5 miles while hunting.

I've got a long-standing history of back problems, and asked my doctor about the Teeter, as well as other inversion tables. His response was that if you have high blood pressure (I, unfortunately do), and or circulatory problems, it wouldn't be advisable to try or use these items. Dang it! I've got an RF scheduled for my back in a few days...they are not pleasant, but trying to put up with the pain is no picnic either.
Good luck,
Dave
