Ant bites

Went to put in new batt on a feeder motor yesterday and decided to climb a tree. **** ants got me... Left arm has 11 blisters. **** little bastages leave a good mark!! lol
Surprisingly no itch or sting.

I sat in some at work the other day. Didn't know it until they were all over my legs.

Actually a kind of combo, they bite, to break the skin, then curl their butts around and spray acid into the break. That is what raises the welt.

Just this morning I was adding a bunch of stuff to the compost pile in the corner of our lot when I felt a bite - looked down and I was wearing a red crew sock made entirely of fire ants on my left foot. I did the fire ant slappy dance for a few seconds then sprinted for the hose. Takes a lot longer for those bites to heal as I have gotten older...
