Really been thinking about spending a few days up there. I haven't been there in over 20yrs. Quick question, would pulling a 36' RV up there be a big pain? Mom and sis just got back from a camping trip and sware that I would be fighting uphill battles and curves most of the way. I would be pulling it with a 2500 obviously but jus wondering how bad and if its worth the haul. OP, wish I was. How bout some pics of the river?

Depends on where you will be coming from. We are in a 35' 5th wheel and had no issues pulling with a Dodge 2500 diesel.

I pull a 35 ft 5th wheel and travel up towards Junction when leaving. The only bad spot is climbing that huge hill north of Leakey. All the rest are small in comparison. If coming from San Antonio, no problems.

The Dodge pulled that hill like a BOSS! I could actually hold 70 going up it and gain if I matted the pedal. [emoji1303]
