I shot 7 animals in africa last summer with them. My impala had a 2.5 inch hole in his shoulder. All of my animals ran less than 45 yards. I however wont be shooting them at animals bigger than a whitetail anymore. I shot a wildebeast and didnt get good penetration. My kudu and waterbuck also didnt get full penetration. THey only ran 40 yards though.

Thanks for posting this sambo. I am planning to make this same broadhead change.

JT just out of curiosity what broadhead do you plan to shoot at game bigger than whitetails? I hope to go on a big game hunt (probably elk) someday.

I shot 100 grain Strikers at all my animals in Africa this summer. (7 in total) Never had to track ANY animals over 12 days of hunting. Oh, I also shot a 8 point today in the hill country and it fell within sight. These Strikers are giving my Slick Tricks a heck of a run!!!

striker mags are awesome. you can put the mag blades in the 100gr head for a 1.5" cut 115gr head

I used both the 125 mags and the 125 reg. in Africa this summer. I shot 2 Impala with the mags and they didn't go 30+ yds and both had huge holes. I shot 9 others ( Kudu,Blue Wildebeest,Nyala,Zebra,4 Warthogs and 1 Impala female ) with the reg. 125's and none of them went over 90 yds with great blood trails. Everything except the Wildebeest fell with in site.
