Loctite when mounting a scope?

I did once, with the blue. When I had to remove that scope base later, I couldn't break the screws loose. I ended up stripping two of the torx screw heads and had to use a Dremil tool to cut a slot in the screw for a flat head screwdriver. Ruined the base in the process as well, but I was okay with that since I was in the process of upgrading it anyway, but it could have been reused if the screws didn't get stuck. I won't do it again.

Nope. Torque it properly and it doesnt need loctite
